We are getting very excited to unveil the initial issue of our new media site, elementsliving.tv. There have been many events, projects, and weeks of writing and editing to prepare for the launch. A newly formed team of writers and editors have been gathering content from various contributors, including our All-Star Fitness Advisory Team, Lifestyle Consultants from our elements? clubs, professional writers, celebrities and more. Today, we finalized an agreement for the "cover feature" of our first issue, who is sure to be a surprise to our readers! (check back next week for more information on this, and a link to the video shoot "making the Magazine") Our philosophy is to make the magazine, columns, podcasts and advice free for all. As such, we are expecting a large online readership, which will help to position elements? with broad appeal as an important fitness and lifestyle brand… for fitness, health information, community and more.
The magazine, one of several ongoing media projects, is spearheaded by elements? "interactive director" Anna Pfeffer. Anna has had years of experience in the online and advertising space, working on projects at top firms such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather.
To the best of my knowledge, we are the only company in the fitness industry with a full time interactive department. Several groundbreaking projects are well underway, including the new magazine, "official guide to elements living" blog, as well as new pr and media events for our clubs. Major expansion is planned for our main website, with a entire new portal "my elements," which will allow our club members to be able to schedule classes, personal training sessions, buy product, even comment on our articles and share their own experiences. We believe that this "community" is the ultimate social force behind great brands, and are proud to be the leader in the fitness industry.
